Philip Ebeling is a Research Associate at the Institute for Classical Archaeology and Christian Archaeology at the University of Münster. His responsibilities include the Academic Advisory Service, Boreas Editorial Office, teaching, and library management. He holds a Bachelor's degree in History and Archaeological Sciences from Ruhr University Bochum (2016) and has pursued advanced studies in Classical and Christian Archaeology at the University of Münster since 2016. His research focuses on Hellenistic settlement archaeology, particularly in Jordan and Israel, including projects such as the Danish-German Jerash Northwestquarter Project and the Tell-Izztaba excavation in Beth She'an.
His academic interests span Classical and Christian Archaeology, with a specialization in Hellenistic urban development and the Decapolis region.
