Philip Drake is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Manchester. His work focuses on contract law, ethical judgment in legal practice, and pandemic policy impacts on healthcare law. He has contributed to projects addressing dementia care during the pandemic and pro bono legal education reform.
Drake's research interests include social sciences applications in legal frameworks, dispute resolution mechanisms, and the intersection of technology with legal practice (e.g., virtual legal training). His recent work highlights adaptations to legal education during the pandemic and policy analysis of care act easements for vulnerable populations.
He has received multiple awards including the 2018 Access to Justice Foundation Third Place Award and 2015 LawWorks & Attorney General Award.
