Dr. Philip Boobbyer is a Reader and Director of Postgraduate Admissions in the School of History at the University of Kent. He holds a BA in Modern Languages from Trinity College Cambridge, an MA in Russian Studies from Georgetown University, and a PhD in Government from the London School of Economics. After temporary positions at the University of Westminster and LSE, he joined Kent in 1995.
His research focuses on Russian intellectual history, religious thought, and biographical studies. Key themes include:
