Philip Armour

Philip Armour is a Professor and Senior Economist at the RAND Corporation, where he also serves as Director of the Ph.D. Program and the RAND Center for Disability Research. His work integrates labor economics, public policy, and health economics to analyze intersections between government programs and workforce behavior.

Research Interests: Focuses on disability policy, retirement decision-making, financial security, and military healthcare systems. Employs empirical analysis of Social Security, Workers' Compensation, and DoD/Veterans Administration programs to understand how policy incentives shape individual choices.
