Dr. Phil Yeoh is a Senior Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of the Sunshine Coast's School of Science, Technology and Engineering. His research focuses on developing secure wireless communication systems for low-latency applications in transport, mining, agriculture, and healthcare. He holds a PhD and BEng from the University of Sydney and has previously worked at the University of Melbourne and University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
His research interests span:
- Physical-layer security in wireless networks
- UAV/drone communication optimization
- Federated learning for IoT security
- Quantum key distribution systems
Recent publications demonstrate strong focus on machine learning applications in wireless security, with trends showing innovative approaches to edge computing authentication and energy-efficient distributed systems.
