Peyman Aghabeyki serves as a Scientific Assistant at the Department of Electronic Systems within The Technical Faculty of IT and Design at Aalborg University, Denmark. His research focuses on advanced antenna systems for millimeter-wave wireless communications, particularly reconfigurable intelligent surfaces and reflectarray technologies for next-generation 6G networks.
His core research spans Reflectarray Engineering, Millimeter Wave Engineering, and Liquid Crystal Engineering, with significant contributions to Beam Steering and Circular Polarization techniques. Aghabeyki's work emphasizes practical implementations of liquid crystal-based delay lines for dynamic beam control, addressing critical challenges in satellite communications and terrestrial wireless systems. The fingerprint analysis of his publications reveals dominant expertise in Reflectarray Engineering (100%) and Millimeter Wave Engineering (71%), with strong secondary focus on Liquid Crystal applications (53%) and Antenna Engineering (35%).
Recent publications demonstrate a clear trajectory toward energy-efficient solutions for 6G, with increasing emphasis on dual-band capabilities, wideband performance, and polarization reconfigurability. His 2024-2025 output shows concentrated activity in IEEE conferences and transactions, reflecting active engagement with the global antennas research community.
Aghabeyki participated as Project Participant in the 2024 EcoSurf6G project (Energy-efficient and Cost-effective Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface with Multiple Panels for 6th Generation Millimeter-Wave Wireless Communications), collaborating with principal investigator S. Zhang and co-investigators P. Mei and G.F. Pedersen. This research aligns with his affiliation with Aalborg University's Antennas, Propagation and Millimeter-Wave Systems group, which maintains extensive international collaborations visible through five-year network maps.
