Petra Kottsieper is Associate Teaching Professor and Director of the Drexel Psychological Services Center. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Drexel University (2006), MEd from Temple University (2000), and BS from Birkbeck College University of London (1990).
Kottsieper's research examines treatment adherence, mental health service implementation, and hope-based interventions for serious mental illness. She maintains research affiliations with Temple University's RRTC on Community Living. Her clinical leadership includes roles at Horizon House and Community Behavioral Health.
At Drexel, she oversees clinical training and community engagement initiatives. She volunteers with My Brothers Keeper for suicide prevention in Philadelphia communities.
