Petr Kuznetsov is a Professor at Telecom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, affiliated with INFRES department. His research focuses on distributed systems, synchronization, algebraic topology in distributed computing, and networked systems.
His research interests include designing robust distributed algorithms, failure detection mechanisms, and applying algebraic topology to distributed computing challenges. Recent work explores synchronization in software-defined networking and concurrent data structures.
He teaches courses on Distributed Computing, Blockchain fundamentals, Combinatorial Topology, and Operating Systems. He has supervised graduate students and interns through research projects on distributed algorithms and concurrency control.
