Peter Worthing is a Professor of History at Texas Christian University (TCU), affiliated with the AddRan College of Liberal Arts and the Department of History. He holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Hawaii (1995), an MA from the same institution (1991), and a BA from Trinity College (1987). His research focuses on modern Chinese military history, the Vietnam War, and Sino-Vietnamese relations. He teaches courses such as 'History of Modern China,' 'The Vietnam War,' and graduate seminars on China in world history.
Worthing’s work emphasizes 20th-century Chinese military strategy, including studies of the Nationalist Army, Chiang Kai-shek’s leadership, and the August Revolution in Vietnam.
