Peter Winskill

Dr. Peter Winskill is an Advanced Research Fellow at the School of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London. He is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and leads a project developing a global malaria modeling framework to enhance the application of the Imperial College London malaria transmission model. His work focuses on optimizing interventions against malaria, HIV, and tuberculosis, leveraging epidemiological data and interdisciplinary collaboration.

His research interests include Public Health and Health Services, Medical Microbiology, Clinical Sciences, and Biochemistry. He is affiliated with the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis, the Malaria Modelling Research Group, and the Imperial College Network of Excellence in Malaria. His projects emphasize translating academic findings into actionable public health policies, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa.

Dr. Winskill’s publications highlight his expertise in modeling disease transmission, evaluating vaccine impact, and assessing the cost-effectiveness of interventions.
