Peter Ufland

Peter Ufland, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Humanities Department at the University of the District of Columbia-Community College (UDC-CC). He specializes in United States History, focusing on the Civil War, Reconstruction, and the politics of race in post-Civil War America. Dr. Ufland chairs multiple institutional committees, including the College Promotion Committee and the College Curriculum Committee, and serves as Faculty Advisor for the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society.
