Peter Sinn

Prof. Dr. med. Peter Sinn is a Senior Physician and Working Group Leader (AG Sinn Breast Cancer) affiliated with the Department of General Pathology and Pathological Anatomy at Heidelberg University Hospital (UKHD). He holds a Professorship in Pathology and has extensive experience in molecular and translational pathology, particularly in breast and female genital tract cancers. His research focuses on breast cancer subtypes, therapy response mechanisms, and digital pathology applications.

• Education: MD (magna cum laude, 1982), PhD (Habilitation, 1999) from University of Erlangen and TU Munich.
• Roles: Consultant in Pathology (since 1993), Head of Gynecopathology Division (since 2005), and Associate Professor at Heidelberg University.

Research Interests: Molecular pathology of breast cancer, therapy resistance, and clinical correlations. His work integrates molecular diagnostics and translational research to improve patient outcomes.
