Professor Peter Schröder is a Professor of the History of Political Thought at University College London (UCL), Department of History, with a joint appointment in the Faculty of Social and Historical Sciences (ESPS). He specializes in intellectual history, focusing on early modern and modern political thought, natural law, and the history of ideas. His work spans publications on figures like Pufendorf, Vattel, and Hobbes, emphasizing legal and political theory.
