Peter Sarlin is a Finnish academic and business leader who currently serves as Professor of Practice at Aalto University. He is the co-founder and CEO of Silo AI, Europe’s leading private AI lab, which was acquired by AMD in the largest AI acquisition in European history. Through Foundation PS, established by Sarlin, he has made a landmark donation to fund 13 new AI professorships across Finnish universities and support the ELLIS Institute, a European network focused on fundamental AI research and technical innovation. His contributions aim to strengthen Finland’s and Europe’s global competitiveness in artificial intelligence through research, education, and industrial applications.
