Peter Robinson is an Associate Professor at Augusta University's School of Computer and Cyber Sciences, Department of Computer & Cyber Sciences. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Naturwissenschaftlich-Techni in 2011. His research specializes in distributed computing, algorithms, and network optimization, with focused work on complexity analysis and fault-tolerant systems.
Research Focus
Professor Robinson's research spans:
- Distributed graph algorithms and optimization techniques
- Message/time complexity trade-offs in network models
- Byzantine fault tolerance and adversarial network behaviors
- Leader election and symmetry breaking in distributed systems
- Efficiency analysis for large-scale graph computations
