Peter Ochepo is a Lecturer in Public Health at the University of Sunderland's Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellbeing. He holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of Bedfordshire (2022), with a thesis titled Perceptions and attitudes to health-seeking delays for malaria treatment in Makurdi, Nigeria. Previously, he taught at the University of Bedfordshire's MSc Public Health program.

- Special Interests: Maternal/child health, mental health, community engagement
His recent research includes the Young Luton Voices project (£3M), examining post-COVID mental health impacts on youth. He has also worked with private and governmental entities like Stemax Consult Healthcare Services and Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Health.
