Peter Neis is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre d'Études et de Recherches sur le Développement International (CERDI), affiliated with Université Clermont Auvergne. His research focuses on empirical legal studies, economics, and environmental justice in the Indian context.
His work examines judicial systems through the lens of caste dynamics, islamophobia, and corporate pollution. Recent publications analyze environmental litigation trends over four decades and biases in Bihar's courts.
