Peter Moore is an Assistant Professor at Dharma Realm Buddhist University (DRBU), where he has been since 2024. Previously, he held academic positions at Xavier University (Visiting Professor, 2021–2024; Adjunct Faculty, 2019–2021), Transylvania University (Adjunct Faculty, 2020), and the University of Kentucky (Adjunct Faculty, 2018–19). His work bridges Western and Buddhist philosophical traditions.

Research Interests
Dr. Moore specializes in Ancient Greek philosophy, particularly Plato’s moral and political philosophy in the Republic, and explores intersections between ancient Greek mathematics (e.g., Euclid’s Elements) and Platonic thought. He is also deeply engaged in comparative studies between Buddhist ethics and ontology and the philosophical frameworks of ancient Greece.
