Peter Monahan

Peter Monahan serves as the Director of the College Writing Program and holds the academic rank of Teaching Professor in the College Writing Program at Washington University in St. Louis. He teaches the 'Dreams & Nightmares' thematic section of the College Writing curriculum. Monahan earned his PhD from Washington University in St. Louis.

His professional focus centers on writing pedagogy and composition studies, with an emphasis on educational methodologies and literacy development. As director, he oversees programmatic initiatives to enhance undergraduate writing instruction.
