Peter Mayr

Prof. Dr. Peter Mayr is a Full Professor of Materials Science and Additive Manufacturing at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), leading the Department of Materials Engineering within the TUM School of Engineering and Design. He obtained his doctorate from TU Graz with distinction and held professorships at Chemnitz University of Technology before joining TUM in 2019. His research focuses on materials, processes, and component properties in additive manufacturing, particularly using experimental and simulation methods.
