Prof Peter MacPherson is a Professor of Global Public Health at the University of Glasgow and Head of Public Health in the School of Health and Wellbeing. He holds an honorary clinical consultant role and leads major studies in Malawi, Zambia, and South Africa, including the ZAMSA-TB project. His work focuses on tuberculosis (TB), HIV/AIDS, and infectious disease epidemiology, with expertise in diagnostic accuracy, spatial analysis, and public health policy.
