Peter L. Markowitz is a Professor of Law and the Associate Dean of Equity in Curriculum and Teaching at Yeshiva University’s Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He co-founded and co-directs the Kathryn O. Greenberg Immigration Justice Clinic, which focuses on immigration enforcement, deportation defense, and the intersection of immigration and criminal law. His work has pioneered innovations like the New York Immigrant Family Unity Project and sanctuary policies.
