Peter Jakes is a Researcher at Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany's leading interdisciplinary research center, affiliated with the Institute of Energy Technologies (IET) and specifically the Fundamentals of Electrochemistry department (IET-1). He is based in Building 10.3, Room 411, at the Jülich campus, contributing to the center's mission in sustainable energy research through fundamental electrochemical investigations.
His research focuses on core electrochemical processes critical for next-generation energy systems, with primary interests in:
