Peter J. Steenstra is a Lecturer in Physical Education at Bates College and serves as the Head Rowing Coach. He has led the women's rowing team to three consecutive NCAA Division III national runner-up finishes (2009-2011) and guided the men's team to a historic appearance at the Henley Royal Regatta in 2009. His leadership has consistently elevated both programs' competitiveness.
