Peter Haynes is a Professor of Applied Mathematics at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) within the University of Cambridge since 2001. Elected as an Ordinary Member of the Academy of Europe in 1998, he specializes in Earth and Cosmic Sciences. Previously held positions include Head of DAMTP (2005-2015), Reader in Atmospheric Science (1999-2000), and University Lecturer (1991-1999) at Cambridge.
