Peter H. Christensen

Peter H. Christensen is an Adjunct Professor at Capitol Technology University and an independent consultant with over 15 years of teaching experience. He retired from the MITRE Corporation after 25 years, serving in roles including Director of the National Cyber Range (2014–2017). His expertise spans DoD and DHS systems acquisition, cybersecurity testing, and cyber-resiliency evaluation. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Linfield University.

Research Focus: Christensen specializes in advancing cybersecurity test and evaluation methodologies, critical infrastructure protection, and emerging threats like ransomware. He is internationally recognized for contributions to cyber-resiliency frameworks and has developed policies for defense acquisition cybersecurity standards.
