Peter Grindrod

Professor Peter Grindrod holds a faculty position at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford, where he leads research in applied mathematics with focus on neuromorphic computing and network theory. His affiliations include the Machine Learning and Data Science research group and the Oxford Centre for Industrial and Applied Mathematics.

Research interests span mathematics of consciousness, neuromorphic information processing, network theory, and digital marketing. His innovative work on cortex simulations via Kuramoto-type models enables laptop-based simulations of neural columns instead of computationally expensive full-brain models.
