Prof. Peter Duncan Donnelly is a Chair in Public Health and Co-Director of the Sir James Mackenzie Institute for Early Diagnosis at the University of St Andrews' School of Medicine. He holds dual roles in academia and senior leadership, with over 30 years of experience. His research focuses on early disease diagnosis, violence reduction, and optimizing healthcare systems to reduce inequalities. Donnelly previously served as President and CEO of a Canadian public health agency and led Scotland's Violence Reduction Unit initiatives.
