Peter Docherty is an Associate Professor in the Economics Discipline Group at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). He holds a Ph.D. in monetary economics and the history of economic thought from the University of Sydney. His research focuses on Post-Keynesian macroeconomic models, financial crises, monetary policy, and the intersection of theology with economic ethics. Docherty has authored Money and Employment: A Study of the Theoretical Implications of Endogenous Money (Edward Elgar, 2005) and co-edits Advances in Economics Education, published by Edward Elgar in 2022.
