Peter Diedrichs is employed at Linnaeus University within the Faculty of Social Sciences, specifically the Department of Education. He serves as the Head of the 'Learning Environment' at the University Library, managing systems such as MyMoodle, LnuPlay, URKUND, and Zoom. His research focuses on Higher Education Pedagogy, Special Education, and Flexible Learning, with a particular emphasis on Inclusive Pedagogy for children and young people with cognitive disabilities.
He defended his thesis in pedagogy at Lund University in 1999 and another in Industrial Economics and Organization (informatics) at Mälardalen University in 2011. His work explores the implementation challenges of web-based learning applications and inclusive educational models.
His recent publications highlight trends in inclusive education, focusing on Belonging in Early Years Education, Group-Oriented Individualization, and the Assessment Culture in Preschools.
