Peter-Daniel Szanto is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Humanities, Eötvös Loránd University, specializing in Buddhism and Tibetology. He serves as the Head of the Department of Buddhism and Tibetology and is also a lecturer within the same department.
His research focuses on Tibetan Buddhist traditions, Himalayan cultural studies, and religious practices in South Asia. The department provides a hub for interdisciplinary work on modern Tibet and Buddhist philosophical systems.
