Peter Angelo is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream at the University of Waterloo's Chemical Engineering Department. He specializes in chemical engineering education and advanced materials research, with a focus on nanomaterials, inkjet printing, and curriculum development. Dr. Angelo holds a PhD and BASc from the University of Toronto (2013 and 2007, respectively).
His research spans nanomaterials synthesis, failure analysis modeling, and innovative teaching methodologies. Recent work emphasizes PEDOT:PSS composites, ZnS:Mn nanoparticles, and inkjet-printed electronics. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario since 2015 and contributes to engineering education through roles like FAUW Council Representative and Chemical Engineering Outreach Committee member.
Teaching highlights include BME 213 (Statistics), CHE 101/516 (Chemical Engineering Concepts/Energy Systems), and CHE 480 (Process Design). His service includes the Engineering Faculty Council and curriculum modernization initiatives.
