Peter A Clark

Peter A Clark is Professor of Theology and Religious Studies and Director of the Institute of Clinical Bioethics at Saint Joseph's University, where he holds the McShain Ethics Chair. As bioethicist for multiple healthcare systems including Mercy Health System and Shriners Hospital, he leads ethics training, chairs institutional review boards, and provides clinical consultations.

Research addresses medical futility, pain management, transplantation ethics, palliative care, and controversial treatments. Authored books include 'To Treat or Not to Treat' and 'Death With Dignity', with editorial work on contemporary bioethics anthologies.
