Dr. Pete Henrys is a chartered statistician (CStat) at the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (UKCEH), with over 15 years of expertise in environmental data analysis and monitoring network design. He specializes in large-scale spatial and temporal analysis, uncertainty quantification in data upscaling, and linking environmental indicators to drivers across scales. His work integrates Bayesian and multivariate statistical approaches to address complex ecological challenges.
- Roles: Project leader (PI/Co-I) on国家级 and international projects.
- Key Projects: Led design of the Glastir Monitoring Programme (Welsh Gov), Northern Ireland Countryside Survey, England Ecosystem Survey (Defra), and the Small Streams Network (EA).
He advises Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales on river network design and serves on committees for the Royal Statistical Society and the National Trust. His research emphasizes practical applications of statistical methodologies to real-world environmental monitoring systems.
