معرفی
Pertti Järventausta is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Tampere University of Technology. His work focuses on electric power distribution, electric vehicle integration, demand response mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks for energy systems. He has supervised multiple doctoral theses, including research on electric vehicle grid interactions, distribution network protection, and power quality monitoring.
Education: Doctor of Science (Technology) from Lappeenranta University of Technology (1995) and Licentiate in Electrical Engineering (1992).
Research interests emphasize sustainable energy systems, energy community development, and innovative tariff structures for electricity distribution. His recent work explores DC fast-charging infrastructure for heterogeneous EVs and regulatory incentives for grid reliability.
Collaborations span academic and industry partners, addressing challenges in smart grids and renewable energy integration. He actively contributes to peer review for journals like IET and IEEE, and has acted as an opponent in doctoral defenses.
