Dr Perrine Lognone is a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) at the Department of Physics, Durham University. Her research focuses on optical communication systems and adaptive optics for satellite links.

Her recent publication in Optics Express (2024) develops methods for improving ground-to-geostationary satellite optical communication through Laser Guide Star (LGS) and downlink joint measurements. This work addresses challenges in tip tilt and focus estimation for stable, high-efficiency data transmission.
