Dr. Perla Reyes serves as Interim Department Head and Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at Kansas State University's College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. (2010) and M.S. (2008) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a B.S. in Actuarial Sciences from National Autonomous University of Mexico (2001).
Her statistical research develops methodologies for analyzing complex spatial-temporal dependencies and network-structured data, with applications in environmental science and social systems. Her expertise includes Bayesian nonparametric approaches and model selection techniques.
