Pere Fullana Puigserver

Pere Fullana Puigserver is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pedagogy and Specific Didactics, Theory and History of Education at the University of the Balearic Islands. He teaches across multiple programs including the Degree in Social Education, Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, and the Master's in Psychoeducational Research and Intervention.

His research focuses on historical dimensions of education, particularly social education's relationship with cultural heritage, museums, and libraries. He examines how educational practices have evolved historically and their connections to contemporary society, culture, and politics. Dr. Fullana Puigserver investigates the role of educational institutions in societal development across different historical periods with particular attention to family, childhood, and adolescence in European contexts.

He actively contributes to two research groups:

• Contemporary Culture, Society and Politics Study Group (CSPMC)
• History of Education Studies Group (GEDHE)

Dr. Fullana Puigserver has consistently supervised final degree projects in Social Education since 2020-21 and teaches specialized courses on historical aspects of physical activity and sports.
