Barbara Penolazzi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Life Sciences (DSV) at the University of Trieste. She serves as a member of the Department's Board, Boards of Studies coordinator/member for Psychological Sciences and Techniques and Clinical Psychology programs, and participates in Doctoral Studies Boards for Neural and Cognitive Sciences (Cycles XXXI–XXXIX).
Her research focuses on typical and atypical development across the lifespan, aligning with clinical psychology disciplines. As a member of the Clinical Psychology research group, she contributes to studies on developmental trajectories.
Past affiliations include coordination of academic governance bodies and participation in doctoral program committees. She actively engages in teaching staff activities and research group collaborations within DSV.
