Dr. Pejman Bahramian is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, Queen's University. His research integrates economic theory with advanced analytical methodologies, focusing on energy economics, time series analysis, applied welfare economics, and machine learning applications in economics.
His recent work explores the bidirectional relationships between clean energy consumption and economic growth in China, wind power investment dynamics in Ontario, and the macroeconomic implications of financial stress indices across global economies. Methodologically, he employs wavelet transforms, Granger causality, quantile-based econometrics, and feature selection algorithms to uncover nuanced economic patterns.
Dr. Bahramian's publications span nonlinear economic modeling, international trade dynamics, and environmental policy evaluation.
