Pavol Balázs is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Biology at the Faculty of Education, J. Selye University in Komárno. He holds a PhD in Botany and has been affiliated with the university since 2011. His academic roles include leading departmental activities and overseeing the Biology teacher training program.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Mendel University in Brno (1984–1988)
- PhD in Botany from Comenius University in Bratislava (1992–1997)
Research Interests: Dr. Balázs focuses on phytocoenology, floristics, faunistics, nature conservation, and ecology. His work emphasizes biodiversity preservation, invasive species management, and innovative teaching methods in biology education. Recent projects include developing phytoadditive products for animal health and enhancing university curricula for physiology and genetics.
