Pavlović Aleksandar

Aleksandar Pavlović is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory of the University of Belgrade. He holds a PhD in Southeast European Studies from the University of Nottingham and has held visiting fellowships at institutions including the Centre for Southeast European Studies in Graz, New Europe College in Bucharest, the Albanian Institute for International Studies in Tirana, and the CEU Democracy Institute in Budapest.

His research focuses on the cultural history of the Balkans, Serbian-Albanian relations, oral and written traditions, and the dynamics of traditional Balkan society. His work explores historical narratives, identity formation, and interethnic tensions in the region.

Pavlović has published extensively, including monographs like Imaginarni Albanac and Epika i politika, as well as co-edited volumes addressing Kosovo-Serbia relations and the politics of enmity. His recent articles examine migration narratives and the legacy of Yugoslav conflicts.

He has received prestigious scholarships and awards, such as the
