Pavle A. Stojkovic

Pavle A. Stojkovic is an assistant at the Department of Organic Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade. His academic journey and research focus on organic and medicinal chemistry, particularly targeting cancer and infectious diseases through innovative compound design.

Research Interests

His work spans organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, and anticancer agent development. Key projects include:

• PhotoSCLART (2023-2026): Developing photoreactive anticancer agents from sclareol and artemisinin derivatives for multidrug-resistant cancer models.
• MiMoSenSa (2024-2025): Creating a MIP@MOF electrochemical sensor for food safety monitoring.

Earlier projects (2011) explored aminoquinolines as antimalarials and botulinum neurotoxin A inhibitors.

Teaching Contributions

He teaches core courses such as Organic Chemistry 1 and 2, Chemical Bond Theory, and specialized chemistry modules for interdisciplinary programs in Biology, Ecology, and Molecular Biology.
