Paulo Santos Monteiro

Paulo Santos Monteiro is a Professor of Economics at the University of York, UK, and a member of the Centre for Applied Macrofinance (CAMF). He serves as an Associate Editor at the Bulletin of Economic Research. His academic journey includes a BA from Nova University Lisbon, an MSc, and a PhD from Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).

His research spans macroeconomic policy, international economics, and labor economics, focusing on fiscal/monetary policy, international business cycles, automatic stabilizers, and firm heterogeneity.
