Pauline Rafferty is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Information Studies at Aberystwyth University. She holds a PhD from the University of Nottingham and has extensive teaching experience across multiple UK institutions including City University London and the University of Central England. Her research focuses on image analysis, multimedia retrieval, social tagging systems, and critical theory approaches to cultural representation.
