Pauli Kolisoja is a Professor at Tampere University, affiliated with the Department of Civil Engineering under the Faculty of Built Environment. He currently leads the Research Centre Terra and the TerraRoad research group, which focuses on infrastructure-related studies. His expertise spans traditional and alternative earth construction materials, infrastructure performance evaluation, design, modeling, maintenance, and remediation techniques. He also oversees full-scale infrastructure monitoring projects.
Key research interests include advancing sustainable construction materials and optimizing infrastructure lifecycle management. His work integrates theoretical modeling with practical field applications to improve infrastructure resilience and durability.
