Dr. Paule Charland is a medical physicist and researcher affiliated with the University of Waterloo's Department of Physics, where she teaches an undergraduate medical physics course. At WRHN (Waterloo Region Health Network), she works in the medical physics department of its regional cancer centre, focusing on quality assurance for radiation therapy equipment and treatment plans. Her role includes commissioning linear accelerators, ensuring their safety and accuracy through rigorous testing.
