Paula Veiga is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the School of Economics and Management, University of Minho, Portugal, where she has been employed since 2002. Previously, she served as a Lecturer at the same institution from 1994 to 2002 and at the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém from 1992 to 1994. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of South Carolina and a Master in International Economics from ISEG - Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão in Lisbon.
