Paula Roos

Paula Roos is a Doctoral Researcher at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) in the Department of Environmental Politics. Her work focuses on discourse and narrative analysis, European environmental policy frameworks like the European Plastics Strategy and Green Deal, and circular economy initiatives.

• Education: M.A. in Political Science (Focus: Foreign Affairs & International Relations) from Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena; B.A. in International Relations and Social Sciences - Law from University of Erfurt
• Experience: Working Student at Research Unit for Sustainability and Climate Politics (2020-2021); Erasmus Exchange Programme participant at Norwegian University of Science and Technology Trondheim (2023)
• Current Projects: NanoINHALE (micro-/nanoplastics uptake pathways), SynCom SPHERE (plastics research and policy engagement)
