Paula Diehr, Ph.D., is a Professor at the University of Washington in the School of Public Health and Community Medicine, jointly appointed in the Departments of Biostatistics and Health Services.
Her research focuses on biostatistical methods in public health, particularly in epidemiology and health services research, with significant contributions to cardiovascular health through the Cardiovascular Health Study (CHS) and VITAL Study. She developed the Diehr Rule for Diagnosing Pneumonia and tools like the Chi-Square Calculator and Healthy Life Calculator.
